Chocolate Hazelnut Popcorn

Plain popcorn popped without oil, then coated in chocolate hazelnut spread while still hot. The WOW Pop pops the kernels in the microwave and then works as a shaker, so the spread melts and coats the popcorn in the same container.

Method

  1. Put the kernels in the Tupperware WOW Pop Popcorn Maker with nothing else. Set the cover in the open position, with its vented side lined up with the holes in the base.

  2. Microwave on high for up to 3 minutes, in an oven of no more than 1000 W. Stay close and stop the microwave when the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops; timing varies with the oven, so check the user manual.

  3. Keeping the cover open, shake out the unpopped kernels. Add the spread straight away to the hot popcorn, close the cover and shake gently for about 30 seconds, until the spread has melted.

  4. Microwave without the cover for 10 seconds at 1000 W, then close it and shake once more for about 10 seconds. Leave for 30 minutes, or up to 10 minutes in the fridge, so the chocolate hardens and the popcorn is less sticky.
