Hot Chocolate Sticks

Bars of flavoured chocolate that turn a cup of hot milk into hot chocolate as you stir. The Micro Pitcher melts the chips in short bursts, and the silicone stick mould sits flat inside the Freezer Mate so the sticks set level and can be carried to the fridge without spills.

Method

  1. Put 3/4 cup (135 g) of the chocolate chips in the Tupperware Micro Pitcher 500 ml and microwave on high power (1000 W) in 30-second bursts until melted.

  2. Stir in the remaining chips until they melt into the rest, then add the flavouring and stir gently.

  3. Set the silicone stick mould inside the Tupperware Freezer Mate large shallow container and fill the cavities evenly. Tap the container on the counter to level the chocolate and release air bubbles.

  4. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, until firm, then unmould.

  5. For a drink, stir two sticks into 1 cup (240 ml) of hot milk until melted.
