Rainbow Grilled Cheese

A sandwich that pulls apart in stripes of red, yellow, green and blue melted cheddar, popular with children. The Grate Master shreds the block quickly, and the MicroPro Grill toasts both sides of the bread and melts the cheese at the same time, with no pan.

  1. Assemble the Tupperware Grate Master on its base, lock it and fit the coarse cone and handle. Put the cheese in the hopper and turn the handle, pressing down with the plunger, until it is all shredded.

  2. Divide the cheese between four Tupperware Snack Cups and add one food colouring to each. Seal and shake until the cheese is evenly coloured.

  3. Butter one side of each bread slice with 1 tbsp butter.

  4. Lay one slice, butter side down, in the base of the Tupperware MicroPro Grill. Cover it with rows of red, yellow, green and then blue cheese, and top with the second slice, butter side up.

  5. Close in grill position and microwave on high power (1000 W) for 4 minutes, until the bread is toasted and the cheese has melted. Serve warm.
