Hibiscus Apple Cooler

A tart, ruby-coloured infusion of dried hibiscus flowers softened with apple juice and, if you like, a little honey. The Classic Sheer Pitcher 3.8 l is large enough to hold the whole batch, so it can go straight into the fridge and onto the table.

  1. Bring the 2 qt (2 l) of water to the boil in a saucepan, add the hibiscus flowers and let them steep for 5 to 7 minutes, until the liquid is a deep red.

  2. Strain and leave the infusion to cool completely.

  3. Pour it into the Tupperware Classic Sheer Pitcher 3.8 l, add the apple juice, cold water and honey, if using, and stir well. Serve over ice.
