A sweet popcorn that borrows the flavours of an alcohol-free mojito: fresh mint, lime zest and sugar worked into soft butter. The SuperSonic Chopper Compact chops the mint finely, and the WOW Popcorn Maker pops the kernels and coats them without a bowl.

Method

  1. Chop the mint finely in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact. Remove the blade, add the soft butter, sugar and lime zest and mix with the Tupperware Silicone Spatula.

  2. Pour the kernels, and nothing else, into the Tupperware WOW Popcorn Maker with the glass plate in the bottom. Fit the lid in the open position, with the vented side lined up over the holes in the base, so steam can escape.

  3. Microwave at full power (1000 W maximum) for about 3 minutes, staying close by. Stop as soon as the popping slows to roughly one pop every 2 seconds; depending on your oven this may take a little more or less than 3 minutes.

  4. Keeping the lid in the open position, turn the popcorn maker over and shake so the unpopped kernels fall out through the holes in the base.

  5. Add the mint butter to the hot popcorn at once, turn the lid to the closed position and shake gently for about 30 seconds until the butter has melted. If it has not fully melted, microwave for 10 to 20 seconds at 600 W and shake again.

  6. For extra crunch, microwave uncovered for 20 seconds more at 600 W, then close the lid and shake for about 10 seconds before serving.
