Method

  1. Grate the pecorino finely with the Tupperware Grate 'n Store.

  2. Put the popcorn kernels in the Tupperware WOW Popcorn Maker, glass plate at the bottom, with no oil or salt. Close the lid so the circles printed on it line up with the holes in the base; this lets the steam out.

  3. Microwave on full power (1000 W maximum) for about 3 minutes. Stop once the pops are about 2 seconds apart; depending on your microwave this may take slightly more or less than 3 minutes.

  4. Shake the popcorn, then turn the popcorn maker upside down with the lid on so any unpopped kernels fall out through the holes in the base.

  5. Straight away, sprinkle the pecorino and salt over the hot popcorn, close the lid and shake for about 20 seconds. Remove the lid and leave to cool for 1 minute.

  6. Scatter over the chives and serve immediately, without shaking again.
