Strawberry Tequila Sunrise Ice Pops

A grown-up ice pop built like the cocktail: an orange and lime layer under a strawberry purée, both with a little tequila, finished with a dip in salted lime sugar. The Lollitup moulds hold neat 4-tablespoon portions and the SuperSonic Chopper Tall purées the fruit in a few pulls.

Method

  1. In a small bowl, combine half the lime zest with the salt and sugar.

  2. Put the strawberries, 1 tbsp of the lime sugar, the water and 1 tbsp tequila in the base of the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Tall. Close the cover and pull the cord until you have a smooth purée.

  3. Cover the rest of the lime sugar and keep it for serving. In the Tupperware Micro Pitcher 500 ml, stir together the orange juice, the remaining tequila and the remaining lime zest.

  4. Pour 2 tbsp of the orange mixture into each Tupperware Lollitup mould, then spoon 2 tbsp strawberry purée on top. Close the moulds and freeze overnight.

  5. Unmould the ice pops one at a time, dip one side in the reserved lime sugar and serve immediately.
