Little Almond Heart Cakes

Small, tender almond cakes made with salted butter, milk and ground almonds, baked in individual hearts. The butter melts in the MicroCook Pitcher, which then doubles as the jug for the wet mix, and the mini heart silicone mould turns them out whole.

Method

  1. Take the rack out of the oven and heat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

  2. Melt the butter in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 1 l for 2 1/2 minutes at 360 W. Add the milk and eggs and beat with the Whisk.

  3. In the Tupperware 2 l mixing bowl, combine the ground almonds, flour, icing sugar and baking powder with the Silicone Spatula and make a well in the centre.

  4. Pour the liquid mixture into the well a little at a time, stirring with the spatula to a smooth batter.

  5. Set the Tupperware mini heart silicone mould on the cold oven rack, fill the cavities with the batter and slide it into the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.

  6. Leave to cool slightly before turning out.
