Raclette and Bacon Hearts

Little savoury cakes with the flavours of a raclette: smoked bacon, melted butter and a blend of cheeses. The bacon cooks in 90 seconds in the MicroCook Pitcher, and the mini heart silicone mould bakes six portions at once.

Method

  1. Take the rack out of the oven and heat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Cook the lardons in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 1 l for 1 1/2 minutes at 900 W.

  2. In the Tupperware 2 l mixing bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and Gruyère together, then make a well in the centre.

  3. Add the eggs one at a time, then the melted butter and lardons, stirring well with the Silicone Spatula.

  4. Stir in the cheese blend and season with pepper.

  5. Set the Tupperware mini heart silicone mould on the cold oven rack, fill the cavities and bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Leave to cool slightly before turning out.
