Apple and Almond Puff Tart

A quick puff pastry tart covered with very thin apple slices, butter and sugar, finished with almonds halfway through baking. The SpeedyMando slices the apple and the almonds evenly, and the silicone tart mould goes straight onto the oven rack.

Method

  1. Heat a fan oven to 190 °C (375 °F).

  2. Wash and core the apple, cut it into pieces and slice it thinly with the Tupperware SpeedyMando.

  3. Place the Tupperware Silicone Tart Mould on the cold oven rack, line it with the pastry and prick the base with a fork. Arrange the apple slices on top, sprinkle with half the sugar and dot with the butter in small pieces.

  4. Bake for about 20 minutes. Halfway through, sprinkle with the rest of the sugar and the almonds, either flaked with the SpeedyMando or coarsely grated with the Tupperware Grate 'n Store.
