Marinated Pineapple with Lime and Ginger

  1. Peel the pineapple and cut it lengthways into pieces. Slice them thinly with the Tupperware Mandoline directly over the Voilà 650 ml dish, then spread the slices out evenly.

  2. Zest the lime and squeeze its juice with the Tupperware Zest 'n Press. Slice the ginger very thinly on the Mandoline.

  3. In the 1 l mixing bowl, stir together the lime zest and juice, ginger, sugar and water.

  4. Pour the syrup over the pineapple, close the dish and leave in the fridge for about 20 minutes.

  5. Serve with a scoop of ice cream and a little extra lime zest, or sprinkle with desiccated coconut or freshly ground black pepper.
