Cranberry Nut Brie

A whole Brie with its top rind removed, spread with a sticky apricot, orange and cranberry topping studded with nuts, then warmed until the centre runs. The topping is cooked in the MicroCook Pitcher in two minutes, and the Ultra Pro Oven Plate goes from microwave or oven straight to the table.

Method

  1. Put the onion in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact, close it and pull the cord 3 or 4 times to chop it.

  2. Combine the butter, chopped onion, apricot preserves and orange juice in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 500 ml. Cover with the 250 ml pitcher turned upside down and microwave at full power (1000 W) for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.

  3. Stir the cranberries and nuts into the warm mixture.

  4. Slice the rind off the top of the Brie with a knife and set the cheese on the Ultra Pro Oven Plate. Spread the cranberry mixture over the cut surface.

  5. Warm the Brie in the microwave at full power (1000 W) for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or in the oven at 350 °F (175 °C) for 10 to 12 minutes, until the centre is soft. Serve with bread and crackers.
