Method

  1. Tip the kernels into the Tupperware WOW Pop Popcorn Maker with nothing else. Set the cover in the open position, lining up its vented side with the holes in the base.

  2. Microwave on high power (maximum 1000 W) for up to 3 minutes. Stay close and stop the microwave as soon as the pops slow to about 2 seconds apart; depending on your oven this may take a little more or less than 3 minutes.

  3. Keeping the cover open, shake out any unpopped kernels.

  4. Straight away add the Pecorino and salt, turn the cover to the closed position and shake for about 20 seconds. Remove the cover and leave to cool for 1 minute.

  5. Scatter the chives over the top just before serving, without shaking again, so they stay on the surface.
