Chocolate Puff Pastry Swirl Loaf

An easy teatime loaf made from just two ingredients: puff pastry spread with chocolate hazelnut spread, rolled up, cut and packed upright so the swirls show on top. The Ultra Pro loaf pan holds the pieces snugly so they bake into one pull-apart loaf.

Method

  1. Pour 1 l (4 cups) hot water into the Tupperware Measuring Jug 2 l, stand the jar of spread in it and leave for at least 15 minutes until the spread is runny. Heat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F), fan setting.

  2. Unroll one sheet of pastry on the Pastry Sheet and cover it right to the edges with half the spread, using the silicone spatula.

  3. Roll the pastry up, cut it into 6 even pieces and stand them on end in one half of the Tupperware Ultra Pro loaf pan 1.8 l.

  4. Repeat with the second sheet of pastry to fill the other half of the pan. Bake for 55 minutes.

  5. Run the silicone spatula around the sides to loosen the loaf, turn it out onto a serving plate and serve warm or cold for an afternoon snack.
