Ingredients
Method
Chop the pistachios finely in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact. In a medium Tupperware Thatsa Bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, pistachios, baking powder and cardamom together.
Put the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla in the Tupperware Quick Shake Container, seal and shake until blended. Pour into the bowl and stir with the silicone spatula until you have a smooth batter.
Set the Pro Ring in the base of the Tupperware MicroPro Grill and lightly oil the base and the cover. Pour in the batter, put the cover on in grill position and microwave at 50% power (500 W) for 10 minutes.
Leave to stand for 10 minutes. Run a thin silicone spatula around the inside of the ring, lift it off and slide the cake out of the grill with the spatula. Leave to cool completely.
For the frosting, put the powdered sugar, butter, orange juice and zest in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra fitted with the paddle, cover and pull the cord until smooth.
Cut the cooled cake horizontally into two layers. Spread a thin layer of frosting on the bottom layer, set the second layer on top, then cover the top and sides with the rest. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
