Tuna and Tomato Gratin

A storecupboard gratin of canned tuna in a quick tomato sauce lifted with basil, lemon and a pinch of sugar, finished with a thin layer of melted cheese. The sauce is cooked in the MicroCook Pitcher in about 6 minutes, then everything is mixed and baked in the Premiaglass square dish.

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

  2. Peel the garlic and onion and chop them in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact. Put them in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 1 l with the oil and microwave for about 3 minutes at 600 W until softened.

  3. Snip the basil with kitchen scissors. Add it to the pitcher with the tomato sauce, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper, whisk and microwave for about 3 minutes at 600 W.

  4. Pour the sauce into the Tupperware Premiaglass square dish 1.9 l, add the flaked tuna and stir with a silicone spatula.

  5. Cover with the Gruyère and bake for about 20 minutes. Serve very hot with a green salad.
