Method

  1. Put the angel hair in the Tupperware Microwave Pasta Maker, add water up to the fill line and microwave at full power (1000 W) for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente.

  2. Scoop out 1/2 cup (120 ml) of the cooking water and keep it aside, then drain the pasta through the vented lid.

  3. While the pasta cooks, put the garlic and green onions in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact and pull the cord until finely minced.

  4. Warm the olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the garlic and onion mixture for 2 minutes, then add the tomatoes and cook for 2 to 4 minutes more, until they soften and start to collapse.

  5. Add the drained pasta, Parmesan, basil, salt and pepper to the pan and toss well. Loosen with a little of the reserved water if needed, and finish with more Parmesan and basil.
