Balsamic Herb Chicken

A butterflied chicken breast dredged in seasoned flour, then finished in a creamy balsamic sauce with sage, thyme and rosemary. The MicroPro Grill browns the chicken in its grill position, then the cover is flipped to casserole position to simmer the sauce, all in the microwave.

Method

  1. Mix the garlic powder, salt, pepper and flour on a plate. Coat the chicken in it on both sides and shake off the excess.

  2. Lay the chicken in the base of the Tupperware MicroPro Grill, set the cover on top in grilling position and microwave on high power (1000 W) for 5 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, stir the cream and baking soda together in a small bowl. Put the stock, vinegar and cornstarch in the Tupperware Quick Shake container, close the seal and shake until smooth.

  4. Take the grill out of the microwave and turn the chicken over. Pour in the balsamic mixture and the cream, and stir. Put the cover back in casserole position and microwave on high power (1000 W) for 5 minutes more.

  5. Chop the sage, thyme and rosemary finely in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact. Stir the herbs into the sauce and serve warm.
