Football Madeleines

Classic madeleine batter of whisked eggs, sugar and melted butter, baked as six large rounded cakes. The butter melts in the MicroCook Pitcher, and the Mini Football Mould turns the batter into small balls with a golden crust and a soft centre.

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F), conventional setting. Whisk the eggs, egg yolk and sugar in the Speedy Chef until pale.

  2. Melt the butter in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 1 l for about 45 seconds at 600 W. Add it to the eggs with the flour and baking powder, and whisk until smooth.

  3. Pour the batter into the cavities of the Mini Football Mould set on the cold oven rack and bake on a low shelf for about 20 minutes.

  4. Cover with a clean tea towel and leave for 5 minutes before turning the madeleines out.
