Cocoa-Patterned Football Madeleines

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F), conventional setting. Whisk the eggs, egg yolk and sugar in the Speedy Chef until pale.

  2. Melt the butter in the Tupperware MicroCook Pitcher 1 l for about 45 seconds at 600 W. Add it to the eggs with the flour and baking powder, and whisk until smooth.

  3. In a small bowl, mix 45 ml (3 tbsp) of the batter with the cocoa. Spread it over the textured areas of the cavities of the Mini Football Mould with a thin silicone spatula and bake for about 3 minutes.

  4. Take the mould out and let it rest for 5 minutes. Lower the oven to 180 °C (350 °F), share the plain batter between the cavities and bake for about 20 minutes.

  5. Cover with a clean tea towel and leave for 5 minutes before turning out.
