Method

  1. Pour the kernels, on their own, into the Tupperware WOW Popcorn Maker. Set the cover in the open position by lining up its vented side with the holes in the base.

  2. Microwave on high power (1000 W maximum) for up to 3 minutes, staying close by. Stop as soon as the pops slow to about 2 seconds apart; depending on your oven this can take slightly more or less than 3 minutes.

  3. With the cover still open, shake out the unpopped kernels and tip the popcorn into a separate bowl.

  4. Put the brown sugar, honey and butter in the empty Popcorn Maker and microwave uncovered for 1 minute at 50% power (500 W).

  5. Holding the Popcorn Maker with oven gloves, stir with a Tupperware Silicone Spatula, then microwave for 20 seconds more on high power, until the caramel turns light golden.

  6. Wearing oven gloves, stir in the baking soda, then add the popcorn and stir until evenly coated; the caramel is very hot. Microwave uncovered for 15 seconds on high power and stir a final time.
