Kale and Strawberry Salad

A crunchy chopped salad of red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and kale with fresh strawberries and almonds, dressed with a sweet and tangy feta vinaigrette. The SuperSonic Chopper Tall blends the dressing and then chops each vegetable in batches, so there is almost no knife work.

Method

  1. Put all the vinaigrette ingredients in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Tall fitted with the blade, close and pull the cord 8 to 10 times until well blended. Pour into a small jar; it makes about 1 1/4 cups (300 ml).

  2. Chop the red cabbage finely in the SuperSonic Chopper Tall and tip it into a large serving bowl.

  3. Chop the broccoli and cauliflower in two batches and add them to the cabbage.

  4. Chop the kale in two batches with 3 or 4 pulls each, so it stays in small pieces rather than a paste, and add it to the bowl.

  5. Add the strawberries, almonds and vinaigrette and toss well.
