Homemade Flour Tortillas

Soft flour tortillas made with just flour, salt, water and oil and cooked one by one on a dry griddle. The Whisk blends the flour and salt evenly before the liquids go in, and a damp Microfiber Towel keeps the waiting dough balls from drying out while you roll.

Ingredients

10pieces

Method

  1. Whisk the flour and salt together with the Tupperware Whisk. Make a hollow in the centre, pour in the water and oil and stir until a dough forms; if it feels wet, work in more flour 1 tbsp at a time.

  2. Knead for 5 minutes, until smooth, then leave the dough to rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Keep them covered with a damp Tupperware Microfiber Towel and roll them out one at a time to the thickness you like.

  4. Cook each tortilla on a hot, ungreased griddle until bubbles appear and the top looks dry, then flip and cook the other side until done. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
