Method

  1. Put the popcorn kernels in the Tupperware WOW Popcorn Maker, glass plate at the bottom, with no oil or salt. Close the lid so the circles printed on it line up with the holes in the base; this lets the steam out.

  2. Microwave on full power (1000 W maximum) for about 3 minutes. Stop once the pops are about 2 seconds apart; depending on your microwave this may take slightly more or less than 3 minutes.

  3. Shake the popcorn, then turn the popcorn maker upside down with the lid on so any unpopped kernels fall out through the holes in the base.

  4. Tip the popcorn into a large mixing bowl and set aside.

  5. Put the sugar, honey and butter in the empty popcorn maker, cover and cook for about 1 minute at 600 W. Stir with the Tupperware Silicone Spatula and cook for about 50 seconds more at 600 W, until the mixture starts to turn amber.

  6. Stir in the bicarbonate of soda, then fold in the popcorn gently. Take care, as hot caramel burns.

  7. Heat for 30 seconds at 600 W and stir one last time.
