Method

  1. Remove the giblets from the chicken and pat it dry on a cutting board.

  2. Stir the melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper and thyme together in the Tupperware Micro Pitcher 500 ml. Brush the mixture all over the chicken and inside the cavity.

  3. Place the chicken breast side down in the base of the Tupperware TupperWave Stack Cooker 3 l casserole. Cover and microwave on full power (1000 W) for 25 to 30 minutes.

  4. Leave to rest for 8 minutes, then check with a meat thermometer that the breast has reached at least 165 °F (74 °C).

  5. Lift the chicken out of the casserole, carve and serve.
