Method

  1. In the Tupperware Thatsa medium bowl, whisk the flour, 15 g (1 tbsp) of the sugar, the baking powder and the salt.

  2. Put the milk, oil, vanilla and egg yolk in the Tupperware Quick Shake, close and shake until blended. Pour into the Thatsa Bowl and stir with a silicone spatula until the batter is smooth.

  3. In the Tupperware Whip N Mix Chef, whip the egg white with the remaining 45 g (3 tbsp) sugar and the cream of tartar or lemon juice until it holds stiff peaks.

  4. Fold the egg white into the batter in two additions, lifting gently so it stays airy.

  5. Set the Tupperware Pro Ring in the base of the Tupperware MicroPro Grill and lightly oil the base and the cover. Pour in the batter, put the cover on in grill position and microwave at 50% power (500 W on a 1000 W oven) for 10 to 12 minutes, until a toothpick in the centre comes out clean.

  6. Wearing oven gloves, lift off the cover, place a plate or board on the grill and turn it over. Leave upside down for 10 minutes before removing the Pro Ring.
