Strawberry Charlotte

A no-bake charlotte of orange-soaked sponge fingers, fresh strawberries and lightly sweetened fromage frais. The Charlotte Mould's lid pushes out the air as you press it, which packs the layers together so the dessert holds its shape when turned out.

  1. In the Tupperware 1 l mixing bowl, gently whisk the fromage frais with the sugar.

  2. Wash and hull the strawberries, then cut them into pieces.

  3. Stir the icing sugar into the orange juice in a small bowl. Dip the sponge fingers one at a time, briefly, and use them to line the base and sides of the Tupperware Charlotte Mould.

  4. Spread in half the strawberries, then half the fromage frais. Add a layer of lightly soaked sponge fingers, the remaining strawberries and fromage frais, and finish with the last soaked fingers.

  5. Put on the lid and press it several times to push out the air and compact the charlotte.

  6. Refrigerate for about 3 hours, then turn out and serve.
