Sweet and Sour Pork Stir-Fry

Strips of pork tenderloin stir-fried with a julienne of carrot and celery, diced tomato, shallot and garlic, then simmered in a sweet and sour sauce of honey, vinegar and tomato purée. The sauce is shaken up in advance in the Quick Shake, so it goes straight into the Chef Series Junior Wok with no lumps.

Method

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into strips with the chef knife.

  2. Peel the carrot, celery and tomato with the 2-in-1 peeler. Cut the carrot and celery into julienne with the slicer and dice the tomato. Peel the shallot and garlic and chop them in the Twister.

  3. Heat the oil in the Tupperware Chef Series Junior Wok and stir-fry the pork over high heat in two batches, about 3 minutes in all.

  4. Add the vegetables, shallot and garlic to the wok. Season lightly, cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Shake all the sauce ingredients together in the Quick Shake, pour into the wok and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with rice or stir-fried noodles.
