  1. Pour the milk and 1/3 cup (65 g) sugar into the Tupperware Chef Series Saucepan 2.5 l and heat over medium heat until it just simmers.

  2. Meanwhile, whisk the rest of the sugar with the cornstarch, egg yolks and whole egg in the Tupperware Thatsa Bowl until smooth.

  3. Take the milk off the heat and pour it slowly into the egg mixture, whisking all the time. Return everything to the saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, whisking without stopping, for 2 to 3 minutes, until thick and glossy.

  4. Off the heat, whisk in the vanilla and butter. Leave to cool completely, then transfer to a storage container and refrigerate.
