Winter Cabbage Salad with Tahini Dressing

A crunchy raw salad of red and Savoy cabbage, carrot and kale with plenty of parsley, coriander and mint, tossed in a sesame, lime and tahini dressing. The Mandoline set to 1 mm shaves the cabbage into fine ribbons that soak up the dressing without going limp.

Method

  1. Fit the Tupperware Mandoline (MandoChef) with the straight blade and set it to 1 mm. Fix the red cabbage on the hand guard and slice it straight into the Tupperware Aloha Bowl 4 l. Slice the Savoy cabbage and the carrots the same way.

  2. Chop the parsley, coriander, mint, kale and spring onions in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra. Add them to the bowl with the sesame seeds.

  3. Put all the dressing ingredients in the Tupperware Mixing Bowl 2 l and whisk with the Tupperware Whisk until smooth. Add finely chopped chilli at this stage if you like heat.

  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetables, toss well and serve straight away.
