Aligot (Cheesy Stretchy Mashed Potatoes)
Aligot is the mountain dish from central France where mashed potato is worked with butter, cream and young tomme cheese until it pulls into long ribbons. The AdaptaChef masher gives a lump-free purée and the slicing cone cuts the cheese thin, so it melts in quickly.

Method
Boil the unpeeled potatoes in salted water for about 35 minutes, depending on size. Drain, then mash them with the Tupperware AdaptaChef fitted with the masher attachment.
Slice the cheese thinly with the AdaptaChef slicing cone.
Return the mash to the pan over very low heat. Beat in the crème fraîche and butter, then add the cheese, lifting and folding the mash until it turns smooth, pulls away from the sides of the pan and stretches.
Serve straight away.
