Almond Nougat Glacé

A French frozen dessert made from whipped cream and honey meringue, studded with caramelised almonds and rum-soaked candied fruit. It needs no churning: the airy mixture sets in the freezer in the Large Ring Mould and slices cleanly straight from frozen.

Method

  1. Soak the candied fruit in the rum while you prepare the rest.

  2. Toast the almonds in a dry frying pan, then add the sugar and let it caramelise around them. Set aside a few caramelised almonds for decoration.

  3. Whip the cream in the Tupperware Speedy Chef, finish by adding the icing sugar, then transfer it to the Tupperware Mixing Bowl 3 l.

  4. Rinse and dry the Speedy Chef and whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks. Add the honey and give the handle a few more turns.

  5. Drain the candied fruit. With a silicone spatula, gently fold the caramelised almonds, the fruit and the egg whites into the whipped cream.

  6. Oil the Tupperware Large Ring Mould with a silicone brush, pour in the mixture and freeze for 2 hours.

  7. Turn out, decorate with the reserved almonds and serve with a raspberry coulis blended in the Tupperware TurboMAX.
