Classic Apple Pie
A traditional double-crust pie filled with sliced gala apples, sugar, lemon and cinnamon. The SuperSonic Chopper Extra cuts the cold butter into the flour quickly, so the pastry stays cool and flaky, and its funnel lets you add the ice water a little at a time.

Method
Heat the oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
Put the flour, butter, salt and sugar in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra fitted with the blade attachment, close and pull the cord until the mixture looks sandy. Fit the funnel and pour in the ice water a few tablespoons at a time, pulling between additions, until a dough forms; you may not need all of it.
Knead the dough briefly, pat it into a disc and freeze for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the apples, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and flour in a Tupperware Thatsa Bowl.
Cut the dough in half and roll each piece out thinly. Line a pie plate with one sheet, pressing it in gently, and brush with a thin coat of beaten egg.
Lift the apples out of their juices with the Tupperware Scoop N Drain and pile them into the crust. Lay the second sheet on top and seal the edges all round by pressing with a fork.
With the Tupperware Paring Knife, cut three slits in the centre of the lid. Brush with the rest of the egg and sprinkle evenly with sugar.
Bake for 50-65 minutes, until deep golden. Leave to cool for 5-10 minutes before cutting.
