Chunky Apple Cake
A family-size cake with more apple than batter: large chunks of fruit held together by a light cinnamon and almond sponge. The covered Ultra Pro 3.3 l bakes the deep cake evenly without the top burning, and the lid comes off near the end to brown it.

Method
Heat a fan oven to 190 °C (375 °F). Melt 90 g (3.2 oz) of the butter, cut into pieces, for 45 seconds at 600 W.
In the Tupperware mixing bowl 3.25 l, whisk the eggs and sugar together. Add the flour, baking powder, 10 g (1 1/2 tbsp) of the ground almonds, the salt, cinnamon and melted butter, and whisk well with the Tupperware whisk.
Peel the apples with the Tupperware peeler, core them and cut them into large chunks. Fold them into the batter with the Tupperware silicone spatula until every piece is coated.
Grease the Tupperware Ultra Pro 3.3 l with the remaining butter and dust it with the remaining ground almonds.
Pour in the apple mixture, cover and bake for about 1 hour 15 minutes, removing the lid for the last 10 minutes so the top turns golden.
Leave the cake to rest, covered, outside the oven. Serve warm or cold, plain or with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or custard.
