Salmon and Leek Crumble

Chunks of fresh salmon layered between softened leeks, garlic and shallot, under a savoury crumble of parmesan, breadcrumbs and butter. The leeks are sweated in the microwave, so there is no frying, and the Ultra Pro 3.3 l bakes the crumble crisp while the fish stays moist underneath.

Method

  1. Wash, drain and slice the leeks. Put half in the Tupperware MicroCook Casserole 2.25 l with 100 ml (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) of the water and microwave for about 13 minutes at 600 W.

  2. Chop the peeled shallots and garlic in the Tupperware Extra Chef and spread them in the Tupperware Ultra Pro 3.3 l. Add the well-drained leeks, season, and cover with the salmon cut into pieces.

  3. Cook the remaining leeks with the rest of the water in the same way, for about 13 minutes at 600 W. Drain them, spread them over the salmon, season and drizzle with the olive oil.

  4. Heat a fan oven to 210 °C (410 °F). Rinse the Extra Chef, then pulse the parmesan, flour, breadcrumbs and butter until the mixture looks like coarse sand.

  5. Scatter the crumble over the dish and bake uncovered for about 30 minutes. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
