Crispy Sweet and Sour Beef
Strips of beef marinated with garlic, ginger and soy, coated in starch and fried twice for a crisp shell, then tossed in a glossy honey and hoisin sauce. The Mastro wok holds enough oil for frying in batches and is then reused for the sauce, and the SuperSonic Chopper handles the aromatics.

Ingredients
Method
Cut the beef into strips about 1 cm (1/2 in) wide and put them in the Tupperware Mixing Bowl 2 l.
Chop the onion, garlic and ginger in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact. Add them to the beef with the soy sauce, mix, cover and marinate in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Stir half the starch into the beef and leave for 10 minutes, then add the rest a little at a time, tossing until every strip is coated.
Heat the frying oil in the Tupperware Mastro Wok over high heat. When it is hot but not smoking, fry the beef in several batches, separating the strips so they do not stick. Drain on kitchen paper or a rack.
Once all the beef is fried, fry it a second time, in batches, for about 1 minute each. Set aside.
Carefully pour off the oil, wash the wok and return it to medium-low heat. Add all the sauce ingredients except the cornflour mixture, stir until smooth and bring to a gentle boil.
Stir in the cornflour mixture and simmer gently until the sauce thickens. Add the beef and toss to coat.
Serve very hot, scattered with sliced spring onions, with rice sprinkled with sesame seeds.
