Lamb with Rosemary and Red Peppers

A one-pot braise of boneless lamb leg with plenty of sweet red peppers, tomatoes, garlic and rosemary. Everything goes raw into the Premiaglass casserole, which goes straight from oven to table and keeps the dish hot while you serve.

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 210 °C (410 °F). Cut the lamb into 4 pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and remove the green centres.

  2. Peel the onion and chop it coarsely in the SuperSonic Chopper.

  3. Peel the peppers with the 2-in-1 peeler, remove the seeds and cut them into strips. Mix the white wine with the cornflour.

  4. Put the lamb, garlic, onion, peppers, wine mixture, rosemary, bay leaf and tomatoes in the Tupperware Premiaglass casserole 2.1 l. Season with salt and pepper and stir.

  5. Cover and bake for about 1 hour, adding a little water during cooking if the sauce reduces too much. Serve very hot with fresh pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.
