Method
If making the adobo, chop the peeled onion, ginger and garlic in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Compact, add the bay leaves and peppercorns and process again. Stir the sugar into the vinegar and soy sauce until dissolved, add to the chopper with the water and blend well.
Chop the parsley finely in the chopper. In a 2 l bowl, mix it with the beef, garlic, salt, onion powder and 4 tbsp adobo until evenly combined. Cover and marinate in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, stir the chilli powder into the mayonnaise (or use the fresh chillies, seeded and finely chopped).
Divide the meat into 6 equal portions and shape firm patties with the Tupperware Hamburger Press.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook 3 patties for 3 to 5 minutes. Turn them, lay a slice of cheese on each, cover the pan and cook for about 2 minutes more, adjusting to taste. Keep warm and repeat with the remaining patties.
Warm the buns, spread them with chilli mayo, add a patty and your choice of toppings, and serve hot.
