Italian-Style Marinated Burgers with Onions
Beef patties soaked for several hours in a marinade of garlic, basil, cloves, balsamic vinegar and Marsala, then cooked in the air fryer. The marinade is not wasted: it is reduced with sliced onions into a sweet-sour topping. The Hamburger Press keeps the patties compact so they hold their shape while marinating.

Ingredients
Method
Season the beef with salt and pepper, mix well and shape 4 patties with the Tupperware Hamburger Press.
Chop the garlic, basil and cloves finely in the Tupperware SuperSonic Chopper Extra, then stir in the oil, balsamic vinegar and Marsala.
Slice the onions thinly with the Tupperware Mandoline. Pour the marinade into a 2 l dish, add the onions and patties, cover and marinate in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight.
Preheat the Tupperware Air Fryer to 190 °C (375 °F) for about 5 minutes. Lift the patties out of the marinade and cook 2 of them for about 5 minutes, turn and cook for 2 to 5 minutes more to taste. Keep warm and cook the other 2.
Meanwhile, pour the marinade and onions into a non-stick frying pan, bring to the boil and cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes, stirring now and then, until the onions are soft and the liquid has thickened.
Serve the burgers in the buns topped with the onions, adding sauces if you like.
