Stuffed Cornish Game Hens

  1. Heat the oven to 400 °F (200 °C).

  2. Spoon half the stuffing into the cavity of each hen. Set the hens breast side up in the Tupperware Ultra Pro 2 l square pan (or 2 l casserole) and rub each with half the butter. Arrange the carrots, parsnips and mushrooms around them and season everything with the salt and pepper.

  3. Microwave the pan uncovered on high power (1000 W) for 12 minutes. Take it out and spoon the juices over the hens and vegetables.

  4. Transfer the pan to the oven and roast for about 20 minutes, until the hens are golden and the centre of the stuffing reaches 160 °F (71 °C) on an instant-read thermometer.

  5. Rest for 5 minutes, then move the hens to a board and cut each in half lengthwise. Serve with the vegetables and pan juices.
